I have not traveled far from Tokyo for a long time. At the weekend, I came to Chiba, Okutama, Tochigi-ken to see natural view. Sometimes, I also want to go another city to travel. It was festival in Japan on 16th 2024, so there was 3 days off including weekend. In this case, my friends and I decided to go Mie ken.
First, we came to Nagoya from Tokyo by Shinkansen. Then I rented a car around Nagoya station. This was my first time to rent a car under my name and drove all the way. The fee of renting a car was about 27,000 yen. To be honest, I just wanted to rent K car, but I did not find it when I booked.
After picking up the car, we set off to Ise Shrine (伊勢神宮). My friends told me it is famous because of 天照大御神.

Although it was a good weather, but it rained at some area when I drove the car. At the Asama mountain view point, I got the answer. it was sunny at right side, but the was raining at left side.
In order to save money, the place of hotel we booked was far from Matsuzaka city, and we needed to pass though the mountain to check in. On the anther hand, we finished dinner around 8:30 pm, and it was totally dark, so I drive very slowly. But, interestingly, we saw deer. Fortunately, our car did not collide with the deer.
It was rain on the weather forecast. but it was sunny at the day. So I was lucky to see the beautiful sea and surfers.
My friend told me that the sea in Okinawa is more beautiful than here. So, if I have chance, I must to go Okinawa!
